Greengage associate Liz Grove has recently completed her training to become a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), joining over 8,000 APs from over 100 countries.
WELL is the leading tool for advancing health and wellbeing in buildings globally, and is in use by over 4,000 projects in more than 60 countries worldwide. The standard combines best practices in design and construction with scientific research to set out a performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features that impact human health and wellbeing. Health criteria including air quality, thermal comfort, lighting and acoustics are covered, as well as designing spaces to improve nutrition, fitness, productivity and performance of building users.
With an increasing emphasis on both physical and mental wellbeing and potential changes in the way office buildings are used as a result of the pandemic, it is now more important than ever to consider health and wellbeing within buildings.
