Healthy Living Week is a NHS initiative to raise awareness and organise activities that promote healthy work places. Greengage have signed up to take part in this year’s week that will take place from Monday 25th to Friday 29th September!
The idea is to commit to a 5 Day challenge during the week:
Mindfulness Monday – aim to take 2 mindfulness minutes at your desk (breathe in for 5, hold for 5, release for 5, repeat 4 times)
Take a break Tuesday – can you take a 5 min break away from your screen every hour?
Water only Wednesday – can you give up caffeine and drink water only?
Thankfulness Thursday – aim to send at least 2 messages of thanks – 1 to staff and 1 to family/friend
Fruity Friday – bring in an extra piece of fruit and get a team photo and post it on twitter @HealthyLDN
