Greengage are pleased to announce that one of our Associate Partner’s, Lesley Treacy has become a Member of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS).
The Institute is the UK’s first professional body for those working in corporate responsibility and sustainability (CRS). It was established as a not-for-profit organisation to ensure that everyone working in the field had the recognition and support they need.
ICRS Organisational membership was historically known as CRG (Corporate Responsibility Group), which was established in 1987 by a small group of senior corporate affairs professionals. In January 2015, the CRG members became a part of the ICRS brand as Organisational members.
The ICRS, which is chaired by Claudine Blamey, helps individual members develop their careers by setting professional standards, recognising their achievements and supporting them through continuing professional development. The Institute also helps organisational members come together as a community to share experiences and exchange ideas with fellow practitioners through seminars, events and networking opportunities.
Lesley Treacy and Greengage look forward to taking an active role in the ICRS helping to further the integration of meaningful CRS into the mainstream of corporate strategy and business practices.
