
Faye Durkin
Faye joined Greengage in May 2023 leading the Ecology and Natural Capital in the North. Faye is particularly passionate about sustainable development and enjoys working with clients to overcome their challenges and explore opportunities to enhance the natural environment for the benefit of both people and nature. She has been a professional ecologist since 2008 and has held bat and great crested newt mitigation licences. She has a wealth of experience ranging from residential developments to large commercial sites and strategic biodiversity net gain projects for the Environment Agency and Natural England. She was also involved in the development of the great crested newt (GCN) District Level Licence for Cheshire. She is also a guest lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.

1st Class BSc (Hons) Environmental Science, MSc Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, Co-chair IEMA Biodiversity and Natural Capital Steering Group, IEMA Policy and Practice Committee member, Women in Property Yorkshire and Northeast Committee member (Chair 2022-2023).
