Environmental impact

Our team delivers a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) service to developers, assessing potential significant environmental impacts arising out of a proposed development. These are identified, assessed and the scope for mitigation is presented within an Environmental Statement (ES), which accompanies a planning application. We both coordinate the EIA process and provide specialist chapters, particularly in relation to; energy, waste, water resources, ecology, sustainability and socio-economic impacts. In addition to full EIA services and chapters, we are highly experienced in the provision of the screening/scoping of EIAs.

Our team delivers a full Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) service, assessing potential significant environmental impacts from a proposed plan, policy or programme.

We deliver bespoke site assessments to determine both the statutory and non-statutory opportunities and constraints associated with potential developments. Both our planning and environmental teams co-ordinate advice related to land and planning applications through the use of GIS, ecological assessment and policy research.
