The Environment Agency has published updated guidance on the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS). This updated guidance supersedes DECC’s ESOS Guide published in June 2014.
While little has changed in the guidance, the document does clarify the financial qualification criteria for ESOS and the equivalent sterling (£) figures which were expressed in euro.
- Turnover in excess of €50m = £38,937,777
- Balance Sheet Total in excess of €43m = £33,486,489.
Clarification on the inclusion of energy consumption from construction activities is also incorporated within the guidance and it does reflect the approach Greengage has taken with several of our construction clients.
