The potential benefits of designing for health and wellbeing are being widely discussed in 2016. This event aims to build on the well understood theory and explore the practicalities, challenges and successes of real world implementation.
Exclusive research by Greengage shows that over ¾ of industry professionals believe there is a knowledge gap preventing health and wellbeing being incorporated in the design of buildings. We will be taking a look at these results in depth, exploring the challenges and successes for built environment professionals.
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland will give an insight into their ‘Living cities’ approach, explaining what drives them to invest in creating and sustaining high quality places, contributing towards happy, healthy and inclusive communities. We will also learn about the new NHS Healthy New Towns which Grosvenor have also been involved in.
Quantification of health and wellbeing is an emerging field and our speakers will discuss the methods used on current projects and the lessons learnt from this experience.
