City of Trees
City of Trees is an innovative and exciting movement set to re-invigorate Greater Manchester’s landscape by transforming underused, unloved woodland and planting a tree for every man, woman and child who lives there, within a generation.
Greengage is working with and supporting the City of trees initiative. To assist with this project last year, we provided four of our experienced ecologists who assisted with the collection of the data in areas in and around Manchester.
Greengage have chosen to support the Marie Curie Cancer Care Trust. Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal illnesses with a network of 2,000 Marie Curie Nurses who work in the homes of terminally ill patients across the UK providing practical care and support. The trust is made up of nine hospices across the UK providing expert care and the best quality of life for people with terminal illnesses.Read more
Greengage have participated in the Brighton Marathon fundraising and raising awareness for the WWF.
The WWF protect wildlife and the most vulnerable natural habitats to securing fresh water for people and planning how to effectively feed the global population without increasing demands on the earth’s natural resources.
The WWF do amazing work and all of us at Greengage are very proud to support their cause.
Better Bankside is a Business Improvement District. Its job is to make Bankside a thriving place to work, live and visit.
Greengage have been supporting Better bankside with many local activities including the Christmas appeal and the Bankside treasure hunt. We will continue to back and support the amazing work that Better Bankside do.
Greengage have been supporting Landaid every Christmas for the past 5 years as part of their Christmas card alternative scheme. LandAid is the property industry charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK.Read more
