Each wing of the proposed development will house just twelve residents and will be fully fitted out to cater for all their needs. There will be a nurse base, communal sitting and dining areas in each wing whilst the development as a whole will provide a physiotherapy area and sensory rooms. The external space will include a landscaped courtyard, sensory garden and the retention of mature landscaping on all boundaries.

An environmental appraisal of the initial designs by way of a Sustainability Workshop led by the team culminated in relevant reports used to support the planning submission.

Greengage worked closely with the scheme architects and project managers to ensure that that the BREEAM Multi-Residential rating of Excellent required by Croydon Council was achieved in line with Croydon Council’s policy.
