The Chrisp Street development proposals were for a mixed-used development comprising 257 residential units, and commercial units to the ground floor.
Greengage undertook a sustainability assessment of the development and considered its design proposals according to the Mayor’s ‘Sustainable Design and Construction Supplementary Planning Guidance’ (SPG).
Where Greengage considered that there was a more efficient and sustainable design solution or feature that could be incorporated, we made recommendations to the design team. This ensured that the development not only met the Mayor’s SPG requirements but also had in place measures that would assist in the development achieving the targeted Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 rating. This was achieved through Greengage’s early input into the design process.
