Greengage acted on behalf British Land as the sustainability coordinators for a major refurbishment of the existing 199 Bishopsgate office development, within the City of London.
We have helped shape the environmental strategy of the scheme, so that it met the corporate requirements set by British Land and the high level of sustainability needed to gain planning in the City of London.
British Land is a leader in the industry known for their high standards of sustainability and environmental performance. It was our role as sustainability coordinator to ensure that British Land’s corporate sustainability targets were communicated to all parties including the multi-disciplinary design team, planning authority, and contractors to facilitate the delivery of a genuinely sustainable refurbishment project with low carbon footprint.
Greengage have an ongoing role as the sustainability coordinator for British Land to report on the delivery of the sustainability targets set for the project as well supporting British Land on a number of exciting projects across the UK.
