It was great to catch up last week and find out a little more about Stonebond and discuss how we might be able to help with your schemes. We talked about some of the work Greengage are delivering at the moment around ecology and details of this are shown below.
- Stanford le Hope – an example of a BS5837 Tree Survey and Arboricultural Impact Assessment of a mixed-use scheme of circa 60 residential units. Through our input to the design process and landscaping plans we were able to ensure the impact of tree loss was short-term and acceptable to all parties.
- Hainault Road, Chigwell – Preliminary Ecological Appraisal for a proposal involving the construction of two residential units within the impact zone of a European Protected site and which had potential reptile and bat constraints.
- Silver Hill – Ecological surveys and advice to facilitate the development of a new residential building following extensive fire damage to an existing listed building on site.
- Elsenham – Greengage have provided a range of ecological services to initially assist with discharging planning conditions before going on to deliver an extensive reptile relocation programme and providing an Ecological Clerk of Works to supervise sensitive works on site.
