Our story…
Greengage was founded in 2006 by Mitch, driven by a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact on biodiversity and sustainability. After years of leading teams at prominent environmental consultancies, he recognised the urgent need for a consultancy that not only understood the complex challenges we face, but was also equipped to drive real, positive change.
Fast forward 20 years and Greengage has evolved in ways that even we couldn’t have fully anticipated. From small beginnings, we’ve expanded to 4 offices across the country, each staffed by dedicated professionals who share our vision. We’ve grown from 6 to 70 passionate team members, all united by a common goal: to create sustainable, thriving communities.
Throughout this journey, we’ve had the privilege of working with over 300 clients, each partnership a testament to our commitment to innovation and collaboration. From our very first project in 2006, to our recent milestones – shaping government and planning policy, implementing new towns and urban extensions and helping investors integrate ESG into their investment decisions – our mission has remained the same: to prioritise the long-term sustainability and well-being of both people and the planet.
Greengage continues to be guided by the values that have been instilled from the start – passion, innovation and a deep respect for the natural world and the communities we serve. As we look to the future, we’re excited to build on our legacy, ensuring that our initiatives create resilient, adaptable communities capable of self-repair and regeneration.
