Animal Aided Design Workshop – Munich

Our Principal Ecologist Morgan Taylor was pleased to take part in the Technical University of Munich’s Animal Aided Design (AAD) research workshop this September. This workshop aimed to support production of a research paper and inform German federal guidance on the integration of biodiversity within the built form in a new development context.

We presented alongside fellow Brits from the Bat Conservation Trust and other scientists and environmental practitioners from across Europe and North America, sharing our experience of working with urban biodiversity.

We were excited to help influence the scientific research that forms the basis of the industry’s approach to urban nature conservation and look forward to the publication of the paper in the new year.
