39 Victoria Street is a prestigious office refurbishment in Central London, adjacent to Victoria Station. Greengage were appointed to provide BREEAM and Ecology Sustainability Services. The building provides 88,500sqft of fully refurbished Grade ‘A’ office space, with a new façade and achieved a BREEAM Excellent Rating.

Greengage worked closely with the Design and Construction team to ensure that the environmental performance objectives were reached and were embedded into the design work from an early stage. As a result, the building achieved a very high level of sustainability, being 10% more energy efficient than the latest regulations require and with 98% of waste diverted from landfill.

Energy efficient appliances, water saving devices and an innovative energy and water metering and monitoring system were installed. The building can adapt to future requirements as there is potential to connect in future to a decentralised energy network. Cycle spaces, showers and lockers encourage active and sustainable commutes to work, while all timber comes from sustainable and certified sources.
