Greengage provided BREEAM Compliance reporting services for a fit-out of the ground to twelfth floor at 12 New Fetter Lane.
The building was newly constructed and completed in late 2015, to provide Cat A office space. The base-build development achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, which was assessed as a ‘Speculative’ development under the BREEAM 2011 scheme.
As part of this assessment, a number of fit-out items could be added into a legally binding ‘Green Lease Agreement’, which would be required to be achieved as part of the incoming Tenant’s fit-out.
Greengage provided a review of the fit-out works in conjunction with the building’s Green Lease Agreement and provided an evidence based compliance report confirming broad compliance with the Green Lease Agreement.
This has ensured that the building’s overall BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard has been maintained through the fit-out, and enables the end occupants to benefit from the extensive sustainability measures that have been embedded through the development.
This included lower energy emissions compared to current building regulations, a healthy internal environment with best practice visual performance and thermal comfort standards.
